I had a friend called Tom
But everything he was
To me was wrapped up in a time
That he lost
So I have not heard from Tom
And he has not heard from
I have not tried either

But Tom was pure energy
Tom was pure fearlessness
And Tom was also scared
He was my biggest competition
That is how I saw it then

I only owe everybody an apology
For I have passed for certain
When I am certain only I know nothing

I think he has brown eyes
I know he has Polish blood
He says that is why he is so hardworking
And he is in a famous band
Man they never stop touring
He has Midura's mask tattooed on his chest
That Ceridwen designed
I don't want to stab him with a needle of remembering
But she's got a new guy
